How is that “no” word working out for you?

Darth Vader toy (Happy Meal)

Apparently for a California (where else) mother, not too well. She’s being used by a do-gooder organization in a stupid suit against McDonald’s that is all over the news.  I say just tell the brat “no” and be done with it.  Perhaps Darth Vader could be of assistance!  I guess it’s harder than it used to be:

“Needless to say, my answer was no,” Parham said. “And as usual, pouting ensued and a little bit of a disagreement between us. This doesn’t stop with one request. It’s truly a litany of requests.”

Imagine:  having to tell your child “no” more than once.  No wonder juvenile court is overrun!  This is a new low in lack of parental and personal responsibility.  She complains further:

For the sake of other parents and their children, I want McDonald’s to stop interfering with my family.

She should hope a happy meal is the largest hurdle that comes between her and her family.  Give me a break!
